The Utah Office of Legal Services Innovation
Utah Sandbox Complaint Form
Nontraditional companies and organizations providing legal services are regulated through the Utah legal regulatory sandbox (the “Sandbox”), which is a pilot project and experiment launched by the Utah Supreme Court. The below form is for consumers who have received legal services from a Sandbox company or organization and would like to submit a complaint about these services. Below are the three regulated types of consumer harm:
- Consumer achieved an inaccurate or inappropriate legal result
- Consumer failed to exercise legal rights through ignorance or bad advice
- Consumer purchased an unnecessary or inappropriate legal service
Please note that the Office of Legal Services Innovation and Legal Services Innovation Committee monitor the compliance of Sandbox companies and organizations but do not provide individual legal advice or assistance with the resolution of complaints. Information provided may be shared with the identified company or organization as part of the investigation process. Additionally, the Legal Services Innovation Committee reports to the Utah Supreme Court and may make a referral to another regulatory body if appropriate.
