The Utah Law and Justice Center was built in 1988.
Its purpose was not only to house the Utah State Bar but also to
provide a gathering place for the community in
such a way as to organize and nurture law-related educational,
charitable and community services. In addition to the Utah State
Bar, the Utah Law & Justice Center houses eight tenants which include the Attorney's
Title Guaranty Fund, Inc., Judicial Conduct Commission, Utah Law Related
Education Project, Utah Bar Foundation, Utah State Board of Continuing
Education, Utah Trial Lawyers Association and Utah Dispute Resolution.
The remaining space of the Center is used by members of the Bar as
well as other professional, civic and community organizations.
