Overview of Presentation

Foundation of a Successful law case can be broken down to several different parts. It is critical at the outset of case to identify what basic elements of the case are.  Often failure to simplify leads to an approach, which leads to too many different path to nowhere.  Basic theory or mantra for the case is one of the first things to be developed.  Following that historic or contemporaneous documentation needs to be assembled through the process of discovery. Additionally key reference documentation needs to be identified and produced.  This can be facilitated by the proper use of consulting or expert resources. Simply put the successful construction law case has to be managed using the same techniques as those who would be employed on a successful construction project.

During our two sessions we will explore how to appropriately identify issues and develop a “mantra” for the case. We will discuss the elements of appropriate documentation of the case.  Following that we will have a discussion the organization of the case and finally what kind of demonstrative documents can be utilized.

The intent of the presentation will be to help open peoples minds to the need for simplification and a clear focus on the basic elements that leads to a successful outcome.
