Several years ago, the Utah courts began a class called divorce education and made it mandatory for any person filing for divorce who had minor children.  Although the class is not lengthy, the results were impressive. Many who participated in the class were able to focus more on the needs of their children.  They put personal differences aside and worked for the best interests of their children.
