The Family Law Section of the Utah State Bar is one of the largest and most active sections.  With over 200 members, the section represents a large cross-section of domestic practice. The Section is governed by an Executive Committee which consists of members of the Bar and Judiciary.  The Executive Committee meets monthly to discuss issues of concern to the members of the Section.

The Section holds CLE luncheons several times each year, offers CLE classes at the annual and mid-year Bar Meetings and holds a seminar every May. A Family Law Lawyer of the Year is selected by the Executive Committee during the spring of each year. If you have someone to nominate, please send your nomination to the Family Law Executive Committee Chair.  We have posted a list of people we are aware received the award.  If you have received it, or know someone who has, please contact Karma Dixon at kdixon@utah.gov.
