Karl Sun

Karl Sun joined Google Inc. in 2002 as the company’s first Patent
Counsel. Prior to joining Google, Karl worked in the Bay Area offices
of Perkins Coie, LLP, as a member of the firm’s emerging growth
company and patent groups. Karl’s previous experience includes counseling
companies through all stages of development, with an emphasis on intellectual
property, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Karl has also served
as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond C. Clevenger III, United States
Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and practiced law with the Venture
Law Group.
