PURPOSE OF THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SECTION OF
THE UTAH STATE BAR The purpose of the Intellectual Property Section is to provide a forum for learning and exchanging ideas among all members of Utah's legal profession who are interested in patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property matters. The Section provides CLE luncheons, as well as an annual, national CLE conference, the Utah IP Summit. The Intellectual Property Section seeks to provide increased opportunity for social and professional interaction among Utah's intellectual property community through the CLE luncheons and the Utah IP Summit. The Section also serves the legal education community as a resource for law students interested in practicing intellectual property law.
