Court Rules for Family Law cases

In Districts in which the court has a Domestic Relations Commissioner, all matters must be handled in accordance with Rule 101 of the Utah Rules of Civil Procedure of the Utah Rules of Judicial Administration. Rule 101 of the Utah Rules of Civil Procedure will apply to any domestic relations matters filed in the district court including divorce, annulment, paternity, spouse abuse, orders to show cause, scheduling conferences, settlement conferences, and petitions to modify divorce decrees.
