Business Law Section

Mark your calendars... our Annual Business Law Section Meeting is scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Speakers, topics and section business items for the meeting will be forthcoming as we approach that date. If you would like to recommend any presentations you believe would be beneficial to the section, please contact the Section Secretary, Brent Clayton. You can also submit nominations for next year's Secretary prior to or at the Annual Meeting when we will hold the election.

At noon on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 the Section will be hosting a CLE luncheon featuring Scott Sabey, current Chair of the the State Bar's Governmental Relations Committee. Scott will update the Section on the status of business law related legislation being addressed by the State Legislature in the 2012 General Session (January 23rd to March 8th). If you have heard rumblings about any particular legislation that you would like Scott to address, please notify the Section Leadership as soon as possible.
