Under the direction of the City Attorney, serves as in-house counsel to Park City. Provides legal advice to City Council, boards, commissions, and to staff on all matters the City undertakes. Area of practice is concentrated within the following fields of law: local government, land use, state and federal constitutional law, contracts, real property, employment, criminal prosecution and civil litigation.

Required: J.D. from an accredited law school, Admission to Utah State Bar, Microsoft Office Software, 4 years criminal prosecution or litigation experience. Preferred: 1 year municipal experience, 2 years land use or related field

Fast growing public nutritional supplement company is seeking an experienced corporate attorney with 4-6 years experience to work on corporate matters, including SEC filings, general contracts, international expansion, regulatory and other issues. The position requires an attorney who is able to handle complex matters from start to finish. The right person will report directly to the General Counsel and will be responsible for assisting management on all corporate, legal and regulatory matters, including but not limited to:

- General contracts, third party agreements, vendor supplier relationships
- Management of external counsel
- Employment law, contracts, claims, devising company policies
- Trademarks, patents, Intellectual property, trade secrets
- International expansion

REQUIREMENTS:

- Law Degree with admission to a state Bar
- 4-6 years of applicable law practice experience
- Superior writing skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies, customers and business community
- Experience in contract law
- Securities law experience a plus

Do you find legal research and drafting pleadings and appeals tedious? I enjoy doing them. My last two years of law school I was a research and teaching assistant.
