The Utah Department of Commerce is seeking applicants for the Director of the Division of Real Estate. The Division of Real Estate protects the public through education, licensure, and regulation of appraisal, mortgage, and real estate professionals. The Director manages the licensing, investigation, and adjudication functions of the Division. The ideal candidate will have a background in the regulated industry, management experience in a government setting, experience in government/legislative affairs, and public relations expertise. An advanced degree in public administration, law, or a related field is required. Hourly salary range is $30.80 to $46.27 with excellent benefits. Except for extraordinary circumstances, candidates typically are hired near the beginning of the salary range.
