Accountable for firsthand, detailed mastery of complete and accurate enterprise contract requirements. This role has firsthand responsibility for developing, managing and incorporating the multi-functional interests of the company into contracts of any level of complexity.
-Leads assigned contract projects by creating timelines, building contingency plans, executing corrective actions, communicating issues resolution, and identifying and utilizing key milestones, stakeholders, and resources needed to ensure timely and successful contract negotiation and completion.
-Leads and is responsible for work quality of others to ensure accuracy and completion of projects and goals.
-Applies advanced knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.
-Possesses firsthand command of contract management systems (e.g. Ariba).
-Project manages the multi-functional interests and requirements to be incorporated in customer contracts.
Critical success factors for this position include:
-The ability to draft thorough and accurate contracts, often very complex in nature.
-The ability to properly prioritize and manage a heavy workload.
-The ability to effectively project-manage the development of contracts including ensuring the interests of a multitude of parties/functional areas are incorporated.
-The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate and a minimum of 5 years of complex contract development and review experience.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a JD or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Legal/Bar Association is desired
Functional - Risk Management/Corporate risk/4-6 Years
Functional - General Management/Project management (non-IT)/4-6 Years
