Ryan joined the Utah offices of Summit 1031 Exchange in May, 2006 as the Utah Corporate Counsel, after practicing law in a Utah law firm. Before coming to Summit, Ryan’s legal experience included representing clients in numerous fields including commercial litigation and various aspects of real estate.

Born and raised in the Salt Lake City area, Ryan received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University.

Ryan is an avid University of Utah sports fan and in his spare time, he enjoys golfing, backpacking and mountain biking.
