I graduated from the University of Utah in 1995 with Bachelor Degrees in Organizational Communication and French. Then, I worked as a Human Resources Representative for a non-profit school in Boston, Massachusetts until 1997. During law school, I gained extensive experience with Employment Law while working at the San Francisco District office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the headquarters of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), the California State Labor Commissioner's office and the Women's Employment Rights Clinic (WERC).

Upon moving back to Utah, I opened Lofgren Ball Legal Services in 2002 and practiced solo until I joined the law firm of Esplin | Weight in 2006. The majority of my legal experience has been representing employees with sexual harassment complaints, race, age and disability discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and unemployment issues. I recently co-counseled a large, four-plaintiff, supervisor-sexual harassment case in which we settled against a large national employer.

Additionally, I represent small businesses with in-house trainings on employment laws, drafting employee handbooks, forming S corporations and Limited Liability Companies, drafting contracts, preparing transactional documents related to buying and selling small businesses, collecting bad debts, and preparing estate planning documents.
