Kay R. Ashton, Vice President and Utah District Manager of Home Loan Corporation

  • Has been in the mortgage business since 1986.
  • Currently a Regional Vice President for SWBC Mortgage Corporation based out of San Antonio, Texas – Oversees Utah Operations.
  • For 11 years was a Vice President and District Manager for Home Loan Corporation
  • Worked in the Mortgage Department for Key Bank for 11 years. When he left, he was a Vice President overseeing mortgage operations for the State of Utah.
  • Currently serves on the Utah Real Estate Commission, an appointment by Gov. Huntsman
  • Previously served as an Alternate to the Utah Mortgage Commission.
  • Served on both committees that wrote the Utah Mortgage Licensing Test and the Utah Mortgage Principal Lending Manager Test.
  • Licensed Continuing Education Instructor for the Division of Real Estate.
  • Past President of the Utah Mortgage Lenders Association and has served many years on the Board of that trade organization.
  • Currently the President of the Centerville-Farmington Rotary Club.
  • He and his wife, Heidi are the parents of four children. His son-in-law is currently attending George Washington Law School.
