Welcome to the 2008 Spring Convention in St. George

Dear Members of the Bar,

We invite you to kick off the New Year in a big way by joining us for this year's Spring Convention in St. George from March 13-15, in what INC magazine is calling, "America's Number One Boomtown!"

Long known as Utah's Hot Spot for fun in the sun, St. George is now on the nation's radar as being the place to come for business and recreation. This year's Spring Convention promises unparalleled CLE opportunities and enough time to breakout your irons and hit the greens on some of the world's most beautiful golf courses.

To ensure there is never a dull moment, the Convention committee has scheduled dynamic speakers including Kirk Bloodsworth, who was first convicted of murder, spent nine years in prison, two of those being on death row, and in 1993 became the first person convicted of capital murder to have his conviction overturned as a result of DNA evidence. It is interesting to note that the actual killer in this case was later identified by DNA evidence.

Also set to speak is Jeffrey Krivis, a nationally known mediator, lecturer and author of two books; "Improvisational Negotiation" and "How to Make Money As A Mediator and Create Value for Everyone".

And no, we have not forgotten to set aside enough time for the networking between you and your peers from all across, what the Kauffman Foundation is calling, "America's most dynamic state."
