Russell Y. Minas, Esq.

Russell Y. Minas is a sole practitioner with offices in Salt Lake City. He graduated from the University of Utah College of Law in 1989 and has practiced domestic relations law in Salt Lake City for the past 16 years. Russell worked as a staff attorney, program director, and executive director of the Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake, before entering into private practice in 1994. His practice now focuses primarily upon domestic relations, collaborative family law and mediation. Russell is the immediate past-chair of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Utah State Bar, and is a member of the board of the Collaborative Family Lawyers of Utah. Russell also is a former member of the Utah Family Court Task Force and Utah Domestic Violence Advisory Council, and was a long-time member of the board of trustees of Splore, a private nonprofit agency which provides outdoor recreation for people with disabilities.
