Description: In this training we will look at both eligibility for Medicaid services and the legal issues that may arise from an unfavorable decision on eligibility, and theories available when a particular device or service is denied by the Medicaid agency. To accomplish this we will also give some background on the Medicaid program. We will also discuss the various avenues to contest an unfavorable decision, and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
