BIO
Virginius “Jinks” Dabney, a long time member of the Utah State Bar, graduated from the University of Nevada in 1965 with a Major in Political Science and a Double Minor in American History and Speech and Drama. He received his law degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1972.
Jinks has been a member of Toastmasters International for over 35 years and is currently a member of the National Speakers Association. He has been a trial lawyer since 1973 and is a long time member of the Utah Association for Justice, formerly known as the Utah Trial Lawyers Association.
Jinks has started three successful law practices in three different cities during his career. He is intimately familiar with the challenges involved in starting and maintaining a successful law firm. In addition, Jinks has personally mentored more than 100 lawyers in Workers Compensation, Social Security Disability and General Litigation.
Jinks resides in St. George, Utah with his wife, Barbara, who has also been his legal partner during his career. They specialize in Workers Compensation, Social Security Disability and related litigation. They have four children and ten grandchildren.
