About the Weber County Bar Association –
The Weber County Bar Association (“WCBA”) is an active association for the legal community in Weber County. The goals of the WCBA are:
- To provide quality, up-to-date, practical continuing education for member attorneys;
- To strive to improve the image of the legal profession through service in our communities;
- To provide a collective voice for the members of the WCBA;
- To provide opportunities for fostering collegiality and civility in the practice of law, particularly among attorneys, judges, court clerks and other individuals and groups involved in the practice of law in Weber County;
- To serve as a communication hub for members of the legal community in Weber County;
- To promote excellence among our members is their various areas of practice;
- To raise public awareness of the judicial system and the roles of judges and attorneys within that system;
Events sponsored by the WCBA include:
- Monthly Continuing Legal Education Luncheons on various law-related topics with presentations by experts in various fields;
- “Breakfast with Santa” at the Ogden Christmas Box House;
- Annual Golf Tournament, the proceeds from which are donated to charity;
- Annual WCBA Holiday Party;
- Legislative Updates;
