Thank you to the dedicated officers, chairs, and many individuals who served UMBA this past year and to those who attended the elections.
UMBA Annual Scholarship Luau is September 27, 2012 at the Gallivan Center starting at 5:45pm. Please RSVP, seating is limited. This is an all outdoor event, we are bringing back the "the Pig"; will have great Polynesian food, music, entertainment, and fire dancers; silent auction, iPad raffle, and Dan Rascon will be our emcee of the evening (no speaker this year).
UMBA members, the LUAU is our only major annual event. It is a time of recognition for the recipients of our UMBA awards and student scholarships. The LUAU is also a chance to promote unity and strength through our membership. By now you all should have received a personal invitation in your mail. Come renew UMBA connections or make new ones, join in the camaraderie and festivities, get charged up, and lend your presence to the face of UMBA.
Every member counts and the good news is our membership is up 10%. We are still needing auction donations and scholarship donations. We appreciate those who have already volunteered and are working hard to make this a memorable evening - it's not too late to jump in and help.
