Trystan B. Smith Promoted to Partner at Snow Christensen & Martineau

Mr. Smith has an active trial practice regularly appearing in state and federal courts. Mr. Smith represents insureds, construction companies, product manufacturers, businesses and homeowners against personal injury, contractual, and product liability claims. Mr. Smith also represents the individual. He has represented a number of individuals in white-collar criminal cases, and defends those accused in state criminal matters. He tries personal injury cases for both plaintiffs and defendants.

Representative Cases

New Concepts Construction v. Mueller Co., et. al.: The builder of a basketball star’s mansion claims a defective water valve caused poorly engineered soils to collapse.

Greenwood Construction v. Pageant Technologies, et. al.: A dispute over tenant build-out expenditures incurred for high-tech venture.

Shaw v. Carl’s Jr.: Summary Judgment in favor of restaurant owner on slip and fall claim.

SEC v. John Doe: Defending a federal securities fraud case.

Edwards v. Ogden City: First Amendment case involving regulation of signs.
