The Legal Assistant Division (“LAD”) is a professional organization created to encourage the development of the legal assistant profession, and to maintain an active voice as a Division of
the Utah State Bar. Through the hard work of volunteer legal assistants, the LAD has established a solid foundation as an organization. The 2000-2001 Board of Directors and Committee
Chairs hope to build on that solid foundation in the coming year.
- Among the goals of the LAD’s Board of Directors this year are the following:
- Streamlining new member application and membership renewal processes;
- Increasing continuing legal education opportunities for our members;
- Fostering contact and networking with and among our membership;
- Updating and maintaining the LAD Website;
- Developing career resources for our membership; and
- Publishing a membership directory.
