FEBRUARY EXAMINATION:
- Application filing deadline date – October 1

- Retake deadline for unsuccessful applicants from the July exam just prior – 4 weeks
from the release of July results. Exact date will be provided in results letter.

A Complete Application, with all application fees (including late fees), forms and applicable
supplementary documentation, must be filed with the Utah State Bar no later than close of
business on the appropriate filing deadline. If the deadline date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or
holiday the deadline date will be the first business day thereafter.
APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION BY MOTION can be submitted at any time and take
approximately four to six months to process. Admission to the Utah State Bar is limited to three
motions for admission per year: February, May and October.
